One of the last rooms we redesigned for our downtown Sarasota high-rise condo owner client was the kitchen, which was dated and unattractive, yet had good “bones”. Well conceived kitchen updates pack a punch rather than break the bank. They also add refined designer drama to a lackluster space.
Our cool client is a collector of many things Southwestern, and creating a cohesive kitchen to speak to his style was crucial.
Rather than demo the perfectly good cabinets, we refinished them to a beautiful mid grey tone, replaced the countertops and installed gorgeous glass backsplash tile that mimicked the strata of earth out west.
The finishing touches were long hand-friendly pulls, (and we always say: “handles are the jewelry for the kitchen”) and 2 bubble glass pendants that framed the pass-through (often missing from over kitchen islands and peninsulas.)
Do you have a kitchen that you’d like to update and don’t know where to start?
We are ready to help.
