We were blessed to walk into a newly purchased waterfront 3-bedroom condo at the very beginning of the interior design process.

What great bones it had, with an open floorplan (we opened it even more), a wrap-around lanai and expansive beach views!  It just needed some major updates:

• A lighter cream wall color, welcoming wood grained flooring, clean line white linen shade lamps and a wood blade ceiling fan created organic and welcoming elements.
  
  
• Installing an oversized sectional was the best way to provide the largest number of comfortable seating, and a floorlamp at each side of the hand carved credenza gave the room human height ambient lighting.
  
  
• Final touches of pillows and throws in both cool and warm colors (coral and blues, opposites on the color wheel) gave the family room a more relaxed vibe.
