We were thrilled to be a major part of redesigning a three bedroom waterfront condo in Sarasota that had a very 80s vibe despite having great bones.

We did, however, break one “house” bone by opening up the kitchen space to isolate a peninsula to create a freestanding island. This allowed a much larger entry into the kitchen and more light coming from the kitchen into the dining area.

We contrasted the color of the new island into a soft grey, (to differentiate it from the white kitchen) added cabinets at both sides for storage (who doesn’t need more storage?), and a hammered gold rectangular bar sink and faucet topped off this gem of an island.

For the great room dining area, gone went dated wall to wall carpeting, in lieu of updated warm wood floors. After finding the perfect stone live edge dining table and custom upholstered chairs, we added a dramatic focal point: a gold sputnik chandelier.

This was a full home multi-space redesign so stay tuned for more!
