This Sarasota high-rise condo main bathroom started out as a blank slate of pure beige boredom—no drama, no color, and zero life. Our wonderful clients deserved a true sanctuary, so we took the space down to the studs, rethinking the layout entirely.
To maximize the footprint, we swapped the positions of the shower and bathtub. By angling a stunning freestanding tub, we instantly injected personality and made the most of the generous square footage. That reconfiguration allowed us to build a massive, luxurious shower complete with dual tall, narrow tiled niches featuring built-in shelves for everyday essentials.
We banished the builder-grade vanity, replacing it with a striking navy statement piece and accent-tiled the vanity wall. Every single element is brand new, from the chic plumbing fixtures to ambient lighting.
Because a Zen retreat needs soul, we introduced calming navy-and-white coastal artwork instead of generic prints.
To finish the floors, we skipped tiny bath mats in favor of a custom-cut rugs that warm up the tile. Fresh orchids and sculptural vessels tie the organic aesthetic together.
At SRQ Interior Design, we do far more than just decorate. We manage the entire transformation from concept to completion, partnering with trusted local trades to curate every tile, fixture, and finish.
