Sarasota, Florida
When our clients bought their waterfront condo, they inherited one true gem: a gorgeous organic modern TV credenza. Everything else needed a fresh start including floors, countertops and wall color!
Starting Over, Thoughtfully
Out went a tiny loveseat, in came a sectional that actually fits how they live. We flanked the windows in soft blue curtains and leaned into an organic, updated coastal palette throughout.
One Rug Language, Not Two
In a compact great room, contrasting rugs chop up the eye. We chose matching rugs for the living and dining areas, letting the space read as one continuous, calming footprint instead of two competing zones.
Details That Do the Heavy Lifting
New larger wood blade fan, a statement dining chandelier, and pendant lighting over the peninsula (wobbly glass finishes to keep that organic feel) and updated every fixture. A larger fan now anchors the coffee table area, and a new dining mirror pulls in more of the water view, expanding the room visually. Elevated faux plants and a lush faux orchid arrangement finish every surface with zero upkeep. We also extended the kitchen countertop for additional bar seating, without stealing an inch from the dining area.
The Takeaway
Even the tightest great room can be carved into distinct, breathable spaces with the right editing, lighting, and materials.

” Jacqueline transformed our downtown condo with such talent and care.
She understood my style immediately and brought it to life in a way
that felt effortless and exciting. We shopped together, and her eye for detail – plus her ability to keep us moving efficiently – made the entire process smooth and genuinely enjoyable. She treated the project like it was her own, pouring so much pride and precision into every choice. The result is a space that feels beautifully curated, thoughtful and completely “us”. I couldn’t recommend her more and am excited to work on our next project with her. She is a real gem!”
